Who Are We?

The Greater Allen Chapel:

The Greater A has a vibrant congregation dedicated to serving God and the community. Our
mission is to serve God by preaching and teaching the Word, encouraging spiritual growth, and ministering holistically to the family, community, and nation in a sinful and dying world.

The AME Church:

The African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church is a predominantly African American Protestant denomination founded in 1816 by Richard Allen in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It emerged from the Free African Society, established in 1787, as a response to racial discrimination within the Methodist Episcopal Church. The AME Church's mission is to minister to the social, spiritual, and physical development of all people. As of recent estimates, the AME Church has approximately 2.5 to 3.5 million members across 7,000 congregations worldwide, with a significant presence in the United States and various countries in Africa.
