Spotlight - Youth Activities and Services
It's Wed night at the C.A.G.E and there's a lively discussion
going on about Cults and Counterfeit Religions. Your first thought is,
"What is the C.A.G.E?"
The C.A.G.E is our Youth House. The acronym stands for
Christians Acting Good Everywhere. The C.A.G.E is where most of our Youth
Activities occur and also our Sunday Morning Teen Class and Wednesday Night
Bible Study.
We have been blessed with a large group of very talented young
people. This year they showed off some of their talents as they
performed the Drama "It's Not Too Late" October 29 at 7:00pm. For more information
on that production,

October also started our canned food drive for Christmas. Last
year we were able to help three families have a better Christmas.
November 12th the Youth and their Leaders had a
Thanksgiving Celebration. A meal was prepared for our shut ins and some of
our older Church members as a way of thanking them for their support, and then
delivered by the youth. We delivered about 65 dinners and then came back
to have a celebration together. After we ate, we had a hayride and a devotion
down by the White River.
December 23rd brings in a new annual event. Christmas
Caroling. Last year we had 25 of our youth members and adults go out
caroling in the rain. It was a blessing not just to those whose homes we
went to, but us as well.
The first Sunday night of each month brings our monthly youth
activities. We have fun, food and most importantly, a time of devotion and
prayer.
The youth are involved in other activities of the Church
throughout the year. If you're looking for a place to get involved we'd
love to have you meet us at the C.A.G.E!
