We are beginning new literature!
Our new literature is Elements from Randall house. Randall house is a
Free Will Baptist publishing company. We are excited about the new
literature. Each week the children will hear God's word in many
different ways.
The literature uses skits, video, and object lessons to help the
children consider God's word. Be sure to check with your child to see
what they are learning each week. Each Sunday they will be given a
take home sheet that lets you know what we are learning. This is a way
for you to interact with them about what they have learned.
There is also something unique that Randall house does with the Elements
literature. Each week there is a podcast that goes with the material.
This is a message that can be sent out to you as the parent. If you
would like to receive the podcast, please give your email address to Bro
Jonathan. I will then email each week's podcast to you. It is a
way to know what we are learning and a way for you to interact with your
child about what they are learning.
Talk to your kids about what they are learning in Children's church.
Each week they are given a take home sheet. It is a good starting
point to begin a conversation with your children about what they learned
that week.
January's Element of the month was Truth. Where do we
get truth from? We get truth from God? God tells us
the truth in the Bible. There are no lies in the Bible.
February's Element of the month was God the Father.
God the Father is our loving heavenly Father and the creator of
the world. No one loves us more than God.
March's Element of the month is Faith. Without Faith
we can not please God. We must have faith in Jesus to be
saved.
January's verse of the month was Psalm 86:11.
February's verse of the month was 1 Corinthians 8:6a.
March's verse of the month is Hebrews 11:1.
Encourage your children to remember these
things. In Children's church we try to reward those who
remember the Element of past months and verses from past months.
It might be helpful for the parents to learn the verses
as well. May be you could reward your children
if they can repeat a verse or element to you.
